CYNDI

Adoptable Underdog Cyndi was named for Cyndi Lauper because, well…girls just want to have fun!! From the moment we met her, it was clear that this little 40 pound dynamo really does love her fun! Whether it’s constantly checking in with her canine foster siblings (“Do you want to play with me yet? How about now? Now? Now…?”) or exercising her sharp mind in scent class or zooming around her backyard, Cyndi is a girl on the go!
She also knows exactly when to turn on the charm, though. Her go-to “Oops…I did something you’re not liking” behavior is to sit, present her paw, and give a very disarming head tilt. Knowing when to use “The Paw” is definitely Cyndi’s superpower! (Her forever humans might need to develop immunity to it or Cyndi is going to get away with a lot, though…)
Cyndi is looking for a forever family who will help her put her energy to good use. Her progress in obedience and scent work classes has been steady, and we’re pretty sure she’d excel at any dog sport. She needs humans who will consistently use positive training methods to help her make good choices at home and out in the world. Cyndi is currently living with dogs of various sizes and types. She can be a bit of an annoying younger sister, though, so she needs humans who will monitor the time she spends with other dogs. She’s way too interested in the family cats, so she needs a cat-free forever home.
You can be Cyndi’s superhero—and add a whole lot of fun to your life—by finding out more about her and our adoption process at www.upstateunderdogrescue.org.
